GERMANTOWN HILLS - Andrea Lee Mallory, 76, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017, at Snyder Village in Metamora.

She was born on September 10, 1940, in Taylorville, IL, to John and Quindero (Neff) McWard. She married David Paul Mallory on December 22, 1984, in East Peoria, IL. He passed away on February 6, 2010.

Surviving are her children, Nick Alexander of Pekin and Megan (Ross) Boeker of Trussville, AL; step-sons, Steven (Beth) Mallory of Eureka and Frank (Cindy) Mallory of Prairie Home, MO; eight grandchildren, Jayme Alexander, Brennan Boeker, Shea Boeker, Heather (Dave) Steinbeck, Tiffany (Matt) Wiegand, Jeanne (Troy) Hall, Dan Mallory and Tim Mallory; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Boyce McWard.

Andrea taught first grade at Germantown Hills Elementary School from 1975 to 1995. She was also a part-time librarian for many years. She was a member of Germantown Hills Baptist Church. She loved her cats. Her hobby was shopping and she had many, many friends. Andrea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017, at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel, with Dave Steinbeck officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel, and also one hour prior to her service on Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday at Morrisonville Cemetery in Morrisonville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to TAPS, 100 Taps Lane, Pekin, IL 61554; or South Side Mission, 1127 South Laramie, Peoria, IL 61605.
